360 is 360 - Today 360 has been in business for 360 Weeks

Today 360 Scheduling has been in business for 360 weeks. Founded in Nottingham in 2002 by Laurent Othacéhé, one of just three staff, 360 Scheduling has bucked the software company trend by growing and prospering to become the world’s leading supplier of mobile workforce scheduling. By 2007 360 had secured the world's largest scheduling deal, catering for 42,000 technicians. Today more than 75,000 field service technicians across the world now rely on 360 for their daily working schedules.
360 Scheduling has its roots in complex numerical analysis and has long been linked with Nottingham University. In the 1990s the company’s founders developed a sophisticated mapping and scheduling solution for use by the Emergency Services. The system helped the Fire, Police and Ambulance services make efficient use of their resources and helped them to meet legal SLAs measured in minutes. Ambulances waiting in strategic locations rather than remaining in their stations became a common sight as a direct result of this system.
360 Scheduling’s success is based on both the excellence of its world class scheduling algorithms and its service oriented architecture. The adoption of modern web based technology is aimed at providing ease of integration with other mission critical field service management systems and the ability, if required, to deliver scheduling software as a hosted service (SaaS).
“Today is a milestone for 360 and despite very challenging market conditions 360 is the class leader, growing rapidly, highly profitable and making significant inroads into markets beyond the UK. Our software enables companies to take strategic control of their field service taking out cost, improving productivity, SLA performance and levels of customer satisfaction.” said Laurent Othacéhé, CEO of 360 Scheduling.
