Utilities System Vendors Look to 360 Scheduling Solutions
360 Scheduling attended the recent Utilities Field Service event held in New Orleans. This well targeted show focuses on Utility company operations strategy and asset management. With spiralling operations costs, especially fuel, being a particular concern in 2008, 360's integrated scheduling and route optimisation solutions were the focus of much attention.
“This was our first show in the US utilities sector and it soon became clear that increasing operations cost has become a major concern,” said Laurent Othacéhé, CEO of 360 Scheduling. “A number of the specialist system providers in this sector reported increasing requests from their customers for scheduling solutions to improve efficiency and cut down costs. They face the intriguing problem of building and developing their own system or buying one such as ours. As a result there was enthusiastic interest in our web based, zero client deployment, scheduling tools since they were designed for ease of integration from the ground up,” continued Othacéhé.
